Great swing. Colors went very well with baby room and crib set (bunny meadow). Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing worked for about 10 months on 1 set of batteries and it was easy to lift off and/or twist. The design and color of this swing is a perfect match for our homes decor and paint. The swing itself feels sturdy and comfortable. The seat comes off so easily and turns directions without any effort.

It is so easy to place the seat back on the swing, no need to jostle baby around. I was very pleasantly surprised how high the seat actually sits up off the floor when not on the swing. Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing is almost chair or couch height which is perfect. The swing motor is certainly louder than I would like, but newborn baby doesn't seem to mind at all!

They say that babies are actually comforted by louder, rhythmic sounds from 9 months of listening to a loud heartbeat & other bodily functions. So I guess it is true, baby just loves to sleep here! Swings side to side and back and forth, baby can face 3 directions, and it has 4 different music/ sound choices which are just lovely!

First 2 buttons play traditional lullabies & other classical pieces (Beethovan, Brahms). The third button push once for day time sounds (wind chimes, birds) and push second time for night sounds (crickets). As for the swing itself, it's great! The "Zen" music is just new-agey versions of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and a few classic pieces, but is still less jarring than standard baby-gear music.

Switching the swing direction from side-to-side to fore-aft direction is best done by picking up the infant seat out of the socket, rotating it, and then reseating it. The swinging action is smooth and quiet. It doesn't bother me, and could probably easily be remedied by shimming the gap with some paper.

The music if very nice a soothing, however I do wish it would go a little louder. This Fisher-Price Zen Collection Cradle Swing was by far our best purchase for our son! See all 324 customer reviews...
