When the wife got this BABYBJORN BabySitter Balance, I was like '$140 for this?!?!' Well, after having it for a couple of weeks, I take it back :) Our 25-week old really likes this. Really nice that it's mesh material so that he doesn't get hot in it. We have been using it to be active w/ him, so he's in a bit more upward position as we engage him.

LOVE LOVE this sleek stylish bouncer from Baby Bjorn. My only regret is that I waited until my son was 4 months old to purchase it! Before then we had used a bulkier, cheaper bouncer from Fisher Price. It was the typical animal-themed Fisher Price contraption, did NOT compact for travel, and was a huge tripping hazard! We also use BABYBJORN BabySitter Balance to soothe him a bit. He's not that heavy, so we push down a bit on the unit to rock it a bit; once he gets heavier, think he'll be able to move it more on his own.

• Folds up nice and flat, easy to carry and it's light.
• Proportional response to how much the baby is moving, I like this more than a swing.

BABYBJORN BabySitter Balance Cons

• I think it's a little overpriced, so if you can find it somewhere for less than one hundred it's a little easier to stomach if the baby doesn't like it.
• The toy bar accessory is really expensive. We had the Tiny Love Sunny Stroller Arch (less than half the price of the bjorn toybar) for her car seat and it attaches to the Bjorn too.

The BABYBJORN BabySitter Balance unit itself is good quality all around; seems kind of simple, but I can see the engineering aspects that went into this. It's a well thought out piece of equipment. Simple to use, looks like it'll last as long as it fits him, and the design is thoughtful. Side note: no assembly necessary; folds flat and is shipped that way (a little benefit for storing and/or transporting).

I would advise any parent to pay any amount for this BABYBJORN BabySitter Balance chair. It is light weight and folds completely flat so it travels everywhere with us and acts as a seat for feeding in a pinch. Washing it is as simple as throwing it in the laundry.
