Reviews InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, Bella Vista

This is the second one of these swings we've owned - last one was lent out and just had to have another one. With the awesome battery life of this InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, there's no need to plug it in. Again, truly amazing battery life. Motor that makes the swing go is very simple, very quiet - just a coil of wire that moves past a magnet.

This InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, Bella Vista is a great swing. One feature that we love is that the direction of the seat can be turned so that the baby swings forward to back or side to side. This has been wonderful because our baby does not like to swing side to side like many swings do. Also, the adjustable speed and different sounds that it plays are great!

• Unzips from the bottom for easy diaper changes; Generous sack design allows room for kicking, but cannot be kicked off so baby stays warm all night; Sleeveless design reduces the risk of overheating

The straps and clips are still in great shape and don't look worn out at all, despite threading them in and out to accommodate growing babies over the years. There was a slight tear in the fabric after the second year, but nothing major and it hasn't gotten any worse since so we didn't bother stitching it.

InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, Bella Vista PROS:

• Amazing battery life. We used it regularly for almost 7 months.
• 6 levels of swing strength, we typically use settings 1-3, but thats just what our baby prefers.
• Music and white noise are both fine. Let's face it, you listen to a LOT of crappy music when you have kids, it's nice when someone makes something child-oriented that is still respectful of a parent's ear.
• Seems very sturdy. The structure of the swing did not rock or sway at all when he was in motion.
• Easy in/easy out. The open design and adjustable mobile makes it very easy to get baby in and out. Also, high enough off the ground that it's not a strain.
• Very smooth motion, no clicking or ticking that I've seen with other people's swings.

InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, Bella Vista CONS:

• Huge footprint. If you are tight on space, this will feel big. (I suppose the footprint is also a pro because the swing feels very sturdy.)

InGenuity Cradle and Sway Swing, Bella Vista overall, great product. We haven't had a need to contact support, but the fact that it's gone through heavy use and lasted, is indicative of the quality.

"AWESOME SWING. I got this swing when my colicy 2 month old baby would not sleep. My daughter is now 16 months and 23 lbs and still loves this swing. She fits in great, the straps are even a little loose, and it still swings as long as the batteries are not dead. I have only replaced the batteries 3 times in 13 months. I think that is pretty good.
